- The Operations Manager is mainly responsible for the efficient and expedient processing of inbound shipments and order fulfillment within the distribution warehouse.
- The job will be overseeing shipping, receiving, picking and packing, and order fulfillment processes.
- The job must be able to streamline the logistics and processing processes in order to meet customer demand at the Los Angeles site.
- The Operations Manager will support the hiring, firing, and training processes of new team members into the Los Angeles site.
- The role must need to facilitate and be in charge of the life of the box.
- The position must work with pick modules in order to go through packages and orders and process them as quickly as possible.
- The Operations Manager will fulfill other duties as assigned to help the Los Angeles distribution center.
Operations Manager (Los Angeles Area) Job Requirements:
- The most important requirement for this job is at least 5-10 years of job experience in e-commerce distribution operations.
- A working knowledge of Manhattan PKMS warehouse software.
- Familiarity with or knowledge of other warehouse software, such as Red Prairie, AS 400, and Cognos.
- A rigorous work ethic and a demonstrated ability to lead and organize others.
- A constant desire to continuously improve and be open to change.
