Rockford CMM Operator Overview:
The CMM Operator must leverage CMM machinery and lab equipment to ensure that the parts that the Rockford plant are producing meet customer specifications and requirements so that the organization can continue to produce parts at a high, effective volume. The CMM Operator will be a part of the Rockford plant’s CMM laboratory and quality department and will report to Rockford Quality Manager for this job. The CMM Operator will not manage anyone directly, but will be responsible for collaborating and working alongside other CMM Operators.
Rockford CMM Operator Job Opening
- For this job, the CMM Operator must make sure that both manufactured parts and purchased parts meet the specs and drawing for the organization’s engineering team.
- Additionally, the CMM Operator must mark up parts that do not meet machining specs in order to signify that they do not meet compliance.
- The CMM Operator must collaborate with other departments to ensure success in the CMM lab.
- There is very minimal travel outside of Rockford Illinois that is required for this job.
CMM Operator (Rockford Area) Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience operating a CMM machine is required for this job.
- Experience with GD&T is essential for this job.
- Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus for this position.
