Rockford Quality Assurance Technician Overview:

The primary duty of the Quality Assurance Technician is to ensure and verify that customer requirements and specifications are met per the manufacturing production of the machining team on-site at the Rockford location. For this job, the Quality Assurance Technician will be working a great deal with the laser tracker to sustain quality best practices. The Quality Assurance Technician will not be managing anyone at this job, but he or she will be reporting to the site’s Quality Manager for performance evaluations and training. This role will be a part of the Rockford plant’s quality department.

Rockford Quality Assurance Technician Job Opening

  • The plant’s Quality Assurance Technician is required to inspect parts for machining operations so that they meet what customers are looking for in their orders.
  • The position will give subassembly personnel inspection data so that the team can implement any adjustments to meet quality specifications.
  • This job must also come up with programs for the company’s laser tracker by utilizing drawings and computer aided design techniques.
  • The Quality Assurance Technician must additionally come up with reports based on data gleaned from inspections.
  • For this role, there is little to no travel necessary outside of Rockford, Illinois.
