  • Develop a program and upload it to mills and lathes manually at the machine, able to understand a write G&M codes from scratch. This will require basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Perform machine set up, install and adjust chunks, attachments, tools, collets, and vices at the Detroit, Michigan plant.
  • The CNC Programmer loads material into the machine for manufacturing jobs.

  • Observing and checking the machining to identify malfunctions or errors in the job process. Able to identify coding problems and correct them promptly to minimize wasted materials or time.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on mills and lathes, notify proper staff of any malfunctions, and fill out the proper online form for repair requests.
  • Able to utilize inspection equipment to verify machining specifications at the Detroit, Michigan plant.

  • A high school diploma minimum, associate’s degree would be beneficial for this CNC Programmer job.
