Atlanta Sr Manager, Research and Development Overview:

The Atlanta, Georgia Research and Development Senior Manager will be seen as a key member of the product design and development team. This job will report directly to the Vice President and will be in charge of the execution of key programs required to support the company’s objectives and business plans in regards to the R&D department.  This position will also manage all facets of the test lab, these include properly prioritizing, scheduling, and utilizing company and test lab resources to improve the productivity and reduce the development cycle of prototype and new products.

  • Lead, hire, and develop talent to maximize individual, team and organizational effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of engagement, communication, and goal alignment within the Atlanta Test Lab
  • Manage new product lifecycles from concept through launch

  • Manufacturing experience and an analytical background preferred.
  • Experience with Asia, Mexico and US based manufacturing preferred.
  • Capital project management and cross-functional product development experiences preferred.
  • Must have previous experience with some P&L management.
  • Strategic thinking with ability to accelerate and influence change preferred.
  • Must be familiar with windows, presentation skills required.
