Seattle Director of Innovation Overview:
It will be up to the Director of Innovation to diagnose and audit operational deficiencies and strategize corrective and preventative actions to remedy them. Additionally, the Director of Innovation will need to create a new material processing system for the company, as it is an important aspect of production and efficient operations. The Director of Innovation will also come up with a strategy for continuous improvement and will work across departments to remove waste (eg. Lean methodologies). The Director of Innovation will direct a team of up to 5 people and will report directly to the company’s chief operations officer.

- The Director of Innovation will come up with control plans and measures that will grade and ensure the success of different lean and continuous improvement projects at the greater Seattle, Washington site.
- This job will hire, train, and onboard employees and engineers whom will help champion continuous improvement projects.

Director of Innovation (Seattle Area) Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in an engineering or a business-related field is required for this job.
- At least 10 years of lean manufacturing or production experience.
- Lean six sigma black belt is strongly preferred for this job.
