Milwaukee Materials Manager Overview:
The Materials Manager is wholly and directly responsible for managing the replenishment and management of inventory at the Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. Additionally, the Materials Manager will oversee several logistics functions at the Milwaukee site, including shipping and receiving, and warehousing forecasts. The Materials Manager will have to come with standard operational procedures (SOP) for materials management and shipping procedures at the site. The Materials Manager will need to examine and oversee all facets of WIP (work-in-process) and will have to strategize changes where necessary in the process. The Materials Manager will be managing warehouse professionals for this job.
Milwaukee Materials Manager Job Opening
- The Materials Manager will issue and control production schedules to facilitate a strong flow of materials to keep up with production schedules from company clients.
- Additionally, the Materials Manager will create reports to record material flow.
- The Materials Manager will conduct evaluations on production statistics and how they relate to material flow and will conduct material forecasts accordingly.
- The role must collaborate with multiple departments to enact and continue continuous improvement projects.
- The Materials Manager will support the training and development of materials coordinators and warehouse technicians at the greater Milwaukee location.
