The New York City Sales Representative will pursue sales leads to create new relationships with vendors while also expanding sales with existing clients. The Sales Representative will perform introductions to customers and deliver presentations to educate furniture vendors on the company’s products. - The New York City Sales Representative will perform cold calls to establish relationships with potential customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Identify and anticipate client needs in order to offer solutions and expand sales with current clients.
- The New York City Sales Representative will research and pursue sales leads within hospitality and corporate clients.
- Perform visits to client sites in order to establish and improve relationships.
- Notice and analyze market trends.
- The New York City Sales Representative will share field observations with sales colleagues in order to improve sales.

Sales Representative (New York City Area) Job Requirements:
- A minimum of an associate’s degree in a related field, possession of a four year degree from an accredited institution would be preferred.
- At least three years of outside sales experience.
- Furniture or luxury sales experience would be preferred.
- Strong consultative sales skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, vendors, and clients.
- Familiar with computer and standard business software such as Microsoft Office Suite as well as ERP systems.
- A high level of motivation.
- Comfortable managing several tasks and objectives simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent presentation and persuasion skills.
