Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Direct and inspire the engineering team to achieve company milestones.
    • Enhance margins for both the manufacturing site and the broader Global Supply landscape.
    • Shape the site master plan, aligning with ongoing innovation and needs.
  • Project Oversight:
    • Ensure timely and budget-aligned project delivery.
    • Champion process and reliability enhancement.
    • Embed continuous improvement strategies.
    • Choose design concepts and technology for product innovations or enhancements.
    • Analyze proposals for cost-benefit and fiscal viability.
  • Compliance and Coordination:
    • Align with corporate guidelines for environmental adherence.
    • Foster methods to monitor project progress and update management.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve performance indicators.
    • Anticipate engineering requirements for market development.
    • Guide both standard and custom capital construction, leveraging proven project management tactics.

  • Safety and Quality:
    • Maintain procedures and standards linked to food safety and quality.
    • Contribute to training efforts and the application of food safety and security measures.
    • Collaborate with operations teams on problem resolution and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (5 years) OR a 2-year technical degree plus experience in project engineering (7 years).
  • Specializations: Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical Engineering.
  • Prior leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in leading substantial capital projects.
  • Advanced computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems.
  • Expertise in capital planning to match production timelines.
  • Aptitude for meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in CPG food/beverage manufacturing.
  • Maintenance team leadership in manufacturing.
  • Electrical/Controls Engineering knowledge.
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement strategies.

Director of Marketing (Gary Area) Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration is required for this job, an MBA is preferred.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in project and people management position is needed.
  • Experience with sales, marketing, brand management, and business development initiatives is required.
  • Excellent communication, project management, interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • 25% domestic and international travel is required for this job.
