  • Dispatch products to various fulfillment centers nationwide.
  • Define and achieve productivity goals by analyzing forecasts, gauging productivity needs, and collaborating with peers for workload distribution.
  • Actively mentor and lead your team.
  • Spearhead significant projects.
  • Collaborate with supporting teams to accomplish business objectives.
  • Oversee safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery commitments.
  • Implement Lean standards including visual management, 5S, and daily oversight.
  • Promote Kaizen events to enhance product flow and optimize inventory cycles.
  • Host Kaizen sessions and value stream mapping to identify and address process inefficiencies.
  • Structure standardized instructions and process flow diagrams.
  • Apply Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Direct teams through structured problem-solving steps.
  • Drive innovation and entrepreneurial approaches.

Lean Culture:

  • Facilitate training sessions to impart Lean principles to the team.
  • Educate and mentor staff about Lean principles and their applications.
  • Pinpoint and drive process improvement initiatives to support customer demands.

Job Elements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks like pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
  • Comfort with standing/walking for up to 12-hour shifts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities:

  • The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor must enhance relationships with the logistics staff in order to ensure prompt and precise communication that entails resolving shortages, overages, product discrepancies, and ASN issues
  • Take part in creating tools and analyzing data in order to predict workload and prepare resources needed to optimize production and efficiency
  • Make sure that proper scanning and placement of cases in a prompt manner in line with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Uphold the documents involved with inbound and outbound tracking
  • Train the logistics team in every aspect of shipping and receiving, as well as informing other departments of standard warehouse procedures
  • Participate in meetings so that the Operations staff establishing priorities and upholding unceasing communication between the different warehouse teams
  • Help to safeguard and maintain the company’s equipment, inventory, and operations
  • Maintain partnerships with other departments and teams in order to figure out and resolve logistical issues and create a resolution in order to meet service requirements and exceed expectations
