- The Toronto Salesforce Developer will organize and lead meetings of development staff as well as major business stakeholders to better understand the needs and aims of the end user.
- With the development team, develop a timeline plan for the migration of processes and data from the legacy system to salesforce.
- Partner with business stakeholders and the development team to identify ways to utilize the functionality of the Salesforce CRM system.
- The Toronto Salesforce Developer will regularly meet with management to discuss the progress of the migration of information and the development of the new system.
- Anticipate potential setbacks, collaborate with the development team to handle all problems as they arise.
- Ensure that data is properly maintained.
- The Toronto Salesforce Developer will assign tasks and projects across the team to ensure the system is ready by the deadline.
- Lead the troubleshooting process of the new system, document all problems, and ensure that problems are properly rectified.
- Perform other tasks as necessary and directed.
Salesforce Developer (Toronto Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree from an accredited university in a related field.
- At least three years of experience in a related developer role.
- At least two Salesforce Certifications.
- At least three years of experience with Apex.
- Able to create triggers.
- Demonstrated history of successful project management experience.
- Familiar with Visualforce, formulas, SOQL, workflows, schema configurations, and reports.
- Able to work individually on several projects while meeting concurrent deadlines.
- Excellent Problem solving skills.
- Strong understanding of end-user needs and objectives.
- A high level of business acumen.
- Comfortable working in collaborative environments as well as individual.
