Detroit Buyer Overview:
The Detroit Buyer will be responsible for the procurement of materials used for manufacturing purposes. This job will require the Buyer to utilize their automotive background to understand best industry practices. The Buyer will understand the prototypes used in this Detroit manufacturing facility so they can create accurate purchasing orders. This job will require the Buyer to create purchasing invoices and ensure that payments are collected in a timely manner. The Buyer will work with multiple vendors and suppliers in order to make sure that workflow is running efficiently. The Buyer will also play a role in the planning of production. The Buyer may be responsible for any additional duties that may be assigned. This job does not require travel outside of the Detroit, Michigan area.
Detroit Buyer Job Opening:
- The Detroit Buyer will monitor the procurement of materials for manufacturing.
- The Buyer will play a part in prototype development in order to ensure appropriate materials are purchased.
