Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain global industrial safety management systems, including policy, standards, and procedures aimed at achieving zero safety incidents.
  • Oversee global industrial safety compliance programs, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Lead project management for corporate industrial safety continuous improvement programs.
  • Facilitate global sharing of industrial safety incidents to promote learning and prevent recurrence.
  • Stay current with global regulatory compliance requirements and update company policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Develop safety programs related to the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
  • Formulate and implement the industrial safety strategy.
  • Develop and maintain internal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for industrial safety, including both leading and lagging indicators.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Perform and coordinate industrial safety due diligence assessments, particularly in relation to mergers and acquisitions, and support the integration of M&A into the company’s industrial safety program.

Who You Are:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in industrial safety or related sciences.
  • Have at least 10 years of experience in site-level industrial safety program implementation.
  • Hold CSP Certification.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of global industrial safety regulations.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills for identifying and mitigating industrial safety risks.
  • Possess competencies in decision-making, action orientation, innovation cultivation, trust building, planning and alignment, accountability, effective communication, managing ambiguity, and collaboration.

  • Experience with developing electronic hardware and large-scale project management and leadership programs are required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiating, motivational, coaching, and training skills.
  • Occasional travel to various facility locations is required for this job, and fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Macon Program Director Job Opening 

  • Must be able to create and plan products that are compatible and affordable, allowing the program to meet financial targets. 
  • Will ensure that team meets targets for functional design within budgetary limits. 
  • Utilize Design for Manufacturing process by validating product designs and solving issues during the testing phase. 
  • Oversee Pilot specification so that build assemblies and other associates processes run smoothly. 
  • Guide and mentor engineers on engineering concepts and robust design ideologies. 

Program Director (Macon Area) Job Requirements: 

  • Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field, a master’s degree is preferred. 
  • Candidates must have a minimum of ten years of experience in the design, development, and launch of vehicles or vehicle components. 
  • This job requires a minimum five years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing setting. 
  • Candidates must be able to address development issues with problem methodologies and tools.
