The greater Jacksonville, Florida area Plant Director is an important role for the sake of all plant operation such as directing, supervising, and managing employees and processes within various departments. It is the job responsibility of the Plant Director to make sure key performance goals of safety, quality, sales and inventory department are met. The position also requires the greater Jacksonville, Florida area Plant Director to help the company maximize the number of patients served along with maintaining the high safety standards and quality of the plant. Additionally, the Plant Director will also work cross operationally, departmentally, and cross locational to improve organization performance as well as using Lean Manufacturing practices to complete projects. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in order to fulfill the job responsibilities effectively. Finally, the Jacksonville, Florida Plant Director position will strive to hold employees accountable for all company values, culture, and performance.

  • The Plant Director must use strong communication skills to direct, supervise, and management plant operations and employees.

Plant Director (Jacksonville Area) Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business is required for this job. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 10-15 years of functional area experience and 7-10 years of management experience is required.
  • Previous experience with medical devices or pharmaceutical operations is required.
  • Ideal candidates will have lean manufacturing and multi-site management experience.
  • Strong problem solving and leadership skills are expected.
