Detroit Quality Supervisor Overview:

The Quality Supervisor will lead in all quality operations within the Detroit facility. The Quality Supervisor shall oversee, monitor, and direct the activities of all quality personnel. Utilizing the organizational chart, the Quality Supervisor will assign tasks to personnel to complete tasks.

Detroit Quality Supervisor Job Opening

  • Direct and supervise quality staff within the Detroit facility and provide corrective action as necessary.
  • Suggest improvements to quality operations.
  • Review and verify corrective or preventative action plans.
  • The Detroit Quality Supervisor will provide training to quality inspection personnel.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects, assist in the implementation of continuous improvement innovations.
  • Develop and promote a positive workplace environment.
  • The Detroit Quality Supervisor will take part in APQP meetings.
  • Provide assistance to the Director of quality during implantation of new quality standards, and ensure the quality standards are maintained throughout the facility.
  • Provide suggestions on potential improvements for quality inspection training.
  • Ensure that quality activity complies with all external and internal quality standards and regulations.
  • The Detroit Quality Supervisor will keep track of all overtime in the work station, and ensure that overtime activities are approved by appropriate personal.
  • Participate in all corrective action processes to ensure customer complaints are minimized.
  • Assist the program management department during the APQP process for new products.
  • During new product development, the Detroit Quality supervisor will also assist in developing control plans, process studies, gauge design, and packaging development.
  • Perform other functions as directed by the Director of Quality.
Quality Supervisor (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of quality job experience.
  • QMS training is necessary for this job.
  • Familiarity with concepts such as advanced product quality planning(APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), process failure mode effect analysis (PFMEA), measurement system analysis (MSA), AIAG control plan.
  • A high school diploma, two or four year degree preferred for this position.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Work will with all reports and other personnel.
  • Comfortable working in a cross functional environment.

This Industrial Designer is based in the Nashville, Tennessee area, must be comfortable in working through all the functions of design, including but not limited to research, prototyping, and presenting projects to other areas of this Nashville based company. This job will ask that the candidates be part of the look and feel of products, taking into account user experience and designing products with high levels of creativity. The Industrial Designer will communicate with manufacturers, sharing designs, sketches, and prototypes to ensure products move from idea to production while staying on time and on budget.

Nashville Industrial Designer Job Opening

  • The Industrial Designer will add their voice to the form, fit and function of products as they are developed.
  •  The job requires candidates help define the proper materials, colors, and finishes, leading to the best design for manufacturing.
  • Applicants to this job will have a strong understanding of the process of product development, from conception to manufacturing for this Nashville based company.
  • The Industrial Designer must be able to manage multiple projects at the same time, managing his or her time wisely.

Industrial Designer (Nashville Area) Job Requirements:

  • This job requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design
  • Candidates must possess more than 2 years in product development
  • Must have excellent visualization and development skills, utilizing CAD and other 2D and 3D software
  • Though based in Nashville, applicants must also have some experience working with overseas manufacturing
  • Job candidates must be detail oriented and work well in a team environment
