  • Plan, design, implement, and refine the manufacturing processes within the facility.
  • Perform evaluations on current and new manufacturing processes to identify areas of improvement. Gather data to assist decision making.

  • A four-year degree in engineering would be preferred, a technical degree or equivalent experience required for this job.
  • At least seven years of experience working in manufacturing.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching abilities.
  • Experience implementing process changes
  • Knowledgeable of concepts and tools such as APQP, PPAP, GD&T, Capability Analysis, D/PFMEA, and SPC.
  • Experience developing and leading trainings in a manufacturing facility.
  • Able to work cross-functionally.
  • Six Sigma Black belt training, certification preferred for this job.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Minitab, MS Visio, and MS project.
  • Lean manufacturing certification

  • The Memphis, Tennessee Area Procurement Manager will optimize freight procurement best practices from project beginning to end.
  • This job will monitor and analyze freight market rates by carrier to continually improve procurement operations.
  • The Procurement Manager in Memphis, Tennessee will engage in vendor selection, negotiation and inventory control.
  • This job will act as a multi-site manager for the logistics and freight procurement teams.

Procurement Manager (Memphis Area) Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required for this job. Degrees in supply chain, business, or engineering are preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role is required.
  • Previous experience in freight and logistics purchasing is expected.
  • This job requires the ability to establish procurement policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this job.
