Ann Arbor Maintenance Technician Overview:
The first job of the Maintenance Technician will be to conduct maintenance on equipment of all kinds at the greater Ann Arbor site. Additionally, he or she must consistently troubleshoot and seek out potential equipment failures at the site. The Maintenance Technician will be required to uphold safety and productivity of each job order while repairing equipment on-site. The Maintenance Technician will also play a large role in establishing preventative maintenance procedures at the greater Ann Arbor location.
Ann Arbor Maintenance Technician Job Opening
- The main job of the Ann Arbor Maintenance Technician will be to conduct corrective and preventative maintenance on-site there.
- The Maintenance Technician will dismantle machines in order to troubleshoot and diagnose proper repair practices on them.
- A high volume of blueprint reading is required for this job.
- The Maintenance Technician must test various machines depending on the job order and proper functioning.
- For this job, the role must collaborate with production operators and technicians about best practices for usage.
- The Maintenance Technician must be an active participant in training groups and meetings.
Maintenance Technician (Ann Arbor Area) Job Requirements:
- At minimum, a high school degree or GED is required for this job.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, fixing injection molding machines or other capital equipment is required for this job.
- Experience working in teams and fast-paced manufacturing environments is essential for this job.
- Strong communication ability.
- Experience training operators and technicians is a plus for this job.
