Structural Analysis Engineer Job Opening Responsibilities:

1. Apply knowledge of structural analysis, including materials technology, finite element modeling, static analysis, fatigue analysis, damage tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, vibration analysis, and structural testing.
2. Determine structural adequacy according to customer requirements and regulatory compliance.
3. Collaborate on structural design, manufacturing, and post-delivery of products.
4. Exhibit effective communication within a team environment.
5. Demonstrate advanced problem-solving ability.
6. Mentor other engineers.
7. Utilize classical structural analysis techniques, using free body diagrams and internal loads model data.

Structural Analysis Engineer Job Opening Requirements:

1. Possess working knowledge of aerospace industry practices and standards.
2. Show excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
3. Must be a resident of or willing to relocate to the Wichita, KS area.
4. Educational credentials meeting the company classification standards for engineers.
5. Typically require 10+ years’ experience in a stress or structural analysis engineering role.
6. Bachelors of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related course of study obtained from an ABET accredited program.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Detailed FEA, with experience in both metallic and composite analysis methods.
