We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Representative to develop business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and drive revenue growth across an assigned territory. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who can identify market opportunities, build strong client partnerships, and consistently achieve sales objectives.
Position Responsibilities
Regional Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional revenue and growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
- Conduct presentations, product discussions, and sales negotiations.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely follow-up.
- Support customer retention and account growth initiatives.
Territory Management
- Manage sales activities and priorities across the assigned region.
- Track sales performance, opportunities, and pipeline activity.
- Travel within the territory as needed to meet customers and develop business.
- Provide regular updates on market conditions and sales opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer requirements and successful sales execution.
- Coordinate with operations, customer service, and other departments as needed.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and customer information.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of regional sales strategies.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in regional sales, territory management, business development, or a related role.
- Strong track record of achieving sales goals and developing new business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and customer development.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory as required.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP).
- Professional Sales Certification.
- Relevant business development or sales management certifications.
- CRM or sales technology certifications.
