We are seeking a driven and relationship-oriented Territory Manager to lead business development efforts, expand market presence, and manage key customer relationships within an assigned territory. Position Responsibilities
Territory Development
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned market.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, and market outreach.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, business partners, and industry influencers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and consultations with prospective and existing clients.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through contract negotiation and closing.
- Develop account plans designed to increase market penetration and customer retention.
- Achieve territory sales targets and performance objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Product & Technical Consultation
- Present product features, benefits, and value propositions to a variety of audiences.
- Translate technical concepts into clear and compelling business solutions.
- Provide customers with recommendations that align with their operational and strategic goals.
Pipeline & Opportunity Management
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions.
- Track opportunities through CRM systems and provide regular performance updates.
- Prioritize opportunities based on business impact and probability of success.
Industry Engagement
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking functions.
- Participate in speaking engagements and educational presentations when appropriate.
- Strengthen market visibility and brand awareness within the territory.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Proven success in business development, territory management, or consultative sales roles.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and navigate complex decision-making processes.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
