We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager of Operations to oversee daily operations, improve organizational efficiency, manage resources, and ensure operational goals are consistently achieved. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate teams and processes in a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operational activities and ensure efficient execution of processes.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Establish and maintain effective operational procedures and workflows.
Team Leadership
- Lead, manage, and develop operational teams.
- Establish performance expectations and provide coaching and feedback.
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support workforce planning and resource allocation.
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and implement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze operational data and develop solutions to address performance gaps.
- Standardize processes and support continuous improvement efforts.
Financial & Resource Management
- Manage operational budgets, resources, and expenses.
- Monitor costs and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
- Ensure appropriate allocation of personnel, equipment, and other operational resources.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with leadership and other departments to achieve business objectives.
- Communicate operational performance, challenges, and improvement initiatives to stakeholders.
- Coordinate projects and initiatives that impact multiple areas of the organization.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Several years of progressive experience in operations management or a related leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing operational processes.
- Strong understanding of business operations, performance management, and process improvement.
- Experience managing budgets, resources, and operational performance metrics.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business or operational management systems.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Certified Manager (CM).
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Operations or process improvement certifications.
