We are seeking an experienced and organized Landscape Production/Operations Manager to oversee field operations, support crew leadership, improve labor efficiency, and maintain high standards for service quality and safety. This role requires strong operational leadership, disciplined execution, sound judgment, and the ability to build productive relationships with field teams and account management.
Position Responsibilities
Field Operations Management
- Oversee daily landscape production and field operations.
- Supervise and support Crew Leaders to ensure effective team management and performance.
- Monitor crew productivity and operational performance.
- Identify and address operational challenges to maintain efficient service delivery.
Labor Efficiency & Productivity
- Monitor labor efficiency across field operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and resource utilization.
- Track crew performance and implement operational improvements as needed.
Service Quality
- Maintain and enforce established landscape service quality standards.
- Monitor service quality across assigned operations.
- Address deficiencies and implement corrective actions to maintain consistent results.
Safety Management
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures across field crews.
- Promote and maintain a strong culture of workplace safety.
- Monitor safety compliance and support efforts to reduce incidents.
Team & Account Coordination
- Work closely with Account Managers to ensure successful service delivery.
- Communicate operational requirements and customer expectations to field teams.
- Provide guidance and support to Crew Leaders and field employees.
Prerequisites
- Experience in landscape operations, production management, field operations, or a related industry.
- Experience supervising field crews or operational teams.
- Strong understanding of landscape maintenance operations and service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to improve labor efficiency and crew productivity.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with field crews, Crew Leaders, and Account Managers.
- Strong commitment to safety and service quality.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Landscape Industry Certified Manager or related landscape certification.
- Horticulture or landscape management certification.
- OSHA certification.
- Pesticide applicator certification, where applicable.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Supervisory or operations management certification.
