We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Landscape Account Manager to manage client accounts, build long-term relationships, support customer retention, and drive sales growth. This role requires strong communication, organization, financial awareness, and a proactive approach to maintaining service quality and identifying opportunities for additional landscape services.
Position Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers.
- Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients.
- Build long-term relationships that support customer satisfaction and retention.
- Respond to client needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Landscape Quality & Site Assessments
- Conduct landscape quality assessments at assigned properties.
- Identify service deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Collaborate with Operations Managers to maintain service quality standards.
- Monitor customer feedback and service performance.
Maintenance Renewals
- Lead maintenance renewal processes for assigned accounts.
- Secure contract renewals and support customer retention goals.
- Maintain pricing integrity and protect gross margins during renewals.
Enhancement Sales
- Identify enhancement opportunities through property inspections and client discussions.
- Estimate and propose enhancement projects.
- Work toward assigned enhancement sales and gross margin targets.
- Coordinate with Operations and Branch leadership to ensure successful execution of sold work.
Branch Support & Collaboration
- Participate in branch planning and strategic discussions.
- Collaborate with Operations Managers and Crew Leaders to communicate customer expectations.
- Help ensure services are delivered according to agreed-upon standards and requirements.
- Support branch safety and operational initiatives.
Prerequisites
- Experience in landscape maintenance, account management, sales, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Professional, confident, and customer-focused approach.
- Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on growth and retention.
- Understanding of landscape maintenance and service operations.
- Strong financial awareness and attention to pricing and margins.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple client accounts.
- Ability to work effectively with operations and field teams.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Landscape Industry Certified Manager or related landscape certification.
- Landscape management or horticulture certification.
- Pesticide applicator certification, where applicable.
- Certified Sales Professional (CSP).
- Project management or customer relationship management certifications.
- OSHA or workplace safety certification.
