We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Regional Operations Manager to oversee operations across multiple manufacturing facilities with full P&L responsibility. This role will focus on improving on-time delivery, quality, production efficiency, and operational readiness while working directly with plant leadership and frontline teams to implement practical, sustainable improvements.

Position Responsibilities

Regional Operations Leadership

Provide operational leadership across multiple manufacturing facilities.
Partner directly with Plant Managers to establish priorities and implement effective operating systems.
Maintain a hands-on presence within plant operations and actively monitor day-to-day performance.
Ensure consistent operational standards and accountability across facilities.

Production & Operational Excellence

Improve production efficiency, throughput, make-ready times, and overall plant performance.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions.
Monitor production processes and ensure resources are effectively utilized.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on measurable business results.

Quality & On-Time Delivery

Improve product quality and reduce operational defects and rework.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to quality and delivery.
Develop strategies to improve on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Work closely with plant teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Lean Manufacturing & Process Improvement

Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies where appropriate.
Implement practical systems and processes that improve daily plant performance.
Work directly with employees and leadership to ensure improvements are sustained.
Focus on execution and measurable results rather than relying solely on formal improvement events.

Financial & P&L Management

Maintain full P&L responsibility across assigned facilities.
Monitor operating costs, productivity, labor, and other financial performance indicators.
Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Develop and execute operational plans aligned with financial objectives.

Team Leadership

Lead and develop Plant Managers and operations teams.
Establish clear expectations, performance metrics, and accountability.
Build a culture focused on ownership, productivity, quality, and continuous improvement.
Support workforce planning and operational staffing needs.

Prerequisites

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Significant experience in manufacturing operations leadership across multiple facilities.
Proven experience with full P&L responsibility.
Strong background in plant operations, production management, and process improvement.
Experience in the printing, packaging, labeling, or a closely related manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success improving on-time delivery, quality, production efficiency, and operational performance.
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work directly with plant teams and frontline employees.
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or similar methodologies.
Excellent financial, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Willingness to travel regularly between facilities.

Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt.
Six Sigma certification.
Certified Operations or Manufacturing Management certification.
Other relevant continuous improvement or operational leadership certifications.
