We are seeking an experienced and strategic Executive Director of Human Resources to lead and oversee the organization’s human resources functions. This role will provide leadership across talent management, employee relations, organizational development, workforce planning, compliance, and HR strategy while supporting a strong and effective workplace culture.
Position Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Advise leadership on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee matters.
- Establish and improve HR policies, programs, and processes.
Talent Management
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning initiatives.
- Develop strategies to attract and retain qualified talent.
- Support leadership development and employee growth programs.
Employee Relations
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
- Help resolve employee issues fairly and effectively.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure HR practices comply with applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain appropriate HR documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor HR-related risks and recommend corrective actions when needed.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the HR team while establishing clear performance expectations.
- Foster collaboration across departments and support organizational development initiatives.
- Promote continuous improvement within HR operations.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in human resources leadership or executive-level HR management.
- Strong knowledge of employment practices, employee relations, and HR compliance.
- Proven experience developing and implementing HR strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification.
- HRCI SPHR or PHR certification.
- Other relevant HR, leadership, or organizational development certifications.
