We are seeking an experienced Segment Marketing Manager, Infrastructure & Underground Construction to drive growth by developing market intelligence, shaping product portfolio strategies, and creating customer-focused marketing initiatives. This strategic role partners with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, strengthen competitive positioning, and deliver solutions that support long-term business success in infrastructure and underground construction markets.
Position Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Strategic Research
- Develop deep insights into infrastructure and underground construction markets, customer segments, and industry trends.
- Conduct primary and secondary market research, including customer interviews, jobsite visits, and competitive analysis.
- Identify customer needs, market opportunities, and barriers to adoption.
- Present actionable recommendations that support business growth strategies.
Product Portfolio Strategy
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and business leaders to develop market-driven product strategies.
- Support new product development and portfolio expansion initiatives.
- Help prioritize product enhancements based on customer feedback and market demands.
- Contribute to business cases and strategic product roadmaps.
Marketing Strategy & Customer Engagement
- Develop compelling value propositions and market positioning strategies.
- Support go-to-market initiatives, product launches, and demand generation campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create sales tools, case studies, technical content, presentations, webinars, and promotional materials.
- Strengthen customer engagement through targeted marketing communications.
Product Qualification & Market Expansion
- Coordinate activities required for product qualification and approval within target markets.
- Develop standardized processes that streamline qualification efforts.
- Work with internal teams to support successful product adoption and market expansion.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead cross-functional initiatives involving sales, product management, engineering, marketing, and operations.
- Build alignment among stakeholders to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Facilitate regular project reviews and monitor progress toward key initiatives.
- Drive collaboration while balancing priorities across multiple business units.
Project & Performance Management
- Manage multiple strategic initiatives while ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Track market trends and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Support leadership with strategic planning and business performance insights.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing, product management, business strategy, or related leadership roles.
- Experience within commercial, industrial, civil construction, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Proven ability to conduct market research and translate insights into business strategies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Experience collaborating within large cross-functional or matrix organizations.
- Ability to travel approximately 25–40% as required.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
