We are seeking a visionary technical leader to shape the future of advanced antenna technologies and drive the next generation of radar and surveillance capabilities. This executive-level role will serve as a foremost technical authority in advanced antenna systems, developing technology strategies that influence products, customers, innovation initiatives, and long-term competitive positioning.
Position Responsibilities
Technical Strategy & Innovation
- Develop and execute the vision and technical strategy for advanced antenna technologies.
- Define technology priorities, strategic investments, and long-term innovation roadmaps in partnership with senior leadership.
- Drive the design, development, and transition of advanced radar and antenna technologies from concept through operational capability.
- Lead the development of complex radar and antenna applications and guide product strategy throughout the lifecycle.
Engineering & R&D Leadership
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to shape and execute R&D initiatives aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Provide technical leadership for strategic pursuits and next-generation surveillance solutions.
- Apply deep technical expertise to resolve complex engineering and technology challenges.
Executive & Industry Collaboration
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, industry partners, government stakeholders, and technical communities.
- Serve as a technical ambassador, strengthening the organization’s position in advanced radar and antenna technologies.
- Work closely with senior executives and engineering teams to translate emerging technologies into mission-critical capabilities.
Technical Talent Development
- Inspire, mentor, and develop technical talent.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
Prerequisites
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 20+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
- Proven success leading large-scale radar design and development efforts.
- Advanced subject matter expertise in radar technologies across sensor applications.
- Demonstrated ability to develop technology strategies and lead strategic initiatives supporting business objectives.
- Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, engineering teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for program and business development activities.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be eligible for a U.S. DoD Top Secret security clearance.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- MBA or additional business-focused qualifications are preferred.
- Advanced professional certifications related to engineering, technology leadership, or defense systems are a plus.
