We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality assurance programs, maintain high standards across operations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role will oversee quality processes, ensure compliance with applicable requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Position Responsibilities
Quality Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Establish quality objectives and performance metrics aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor quality performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure consistent application of quality standards across operations.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Oversee inspection, testing, and quality assurance activities.
- Investigate nonconformances, defects, and customer quality concerns.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry, regulatory, and customer requirements.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce defects, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives using data-driven methodologies.
- Track corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and develop quality personnel.
- Collaborate with operations, production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality concerns.
- Provide training and guidance on quality procedures and best practices.
- Communicate quality performance and recommendations to leadership.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate quality records, procedures, and documentation.
- Prepare quality reports and performance updates for management.
- Analyze quality data and trends to support informed decision-making.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality management.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and quality control principles.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
- Six Sigma or Lean certification.
- Other relevant quality or industry certifications.
