We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee and support key human resources functions while fostering a positive, productive, and compliant workplace. This role will partner with leadership and employees to manage HR programs, strengthen employee engagement, and ensure effective implementation of company policies and practices.
Position Responsibilities
HR Operations & Strategy
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide guidance to leadership on employee relations, workforce planning, and HR best practices.
- Ensure HR processes are consistent, efficient, and compliant with applicable regulations.
Employee Relations
- Address employee concerns and workplace issues professionally and confidentially.
- Support conflict resolution and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Advise managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee recruitment, interviewing, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
- Support workforce planning and employee retention initiatives.
Performance & Development
- Manage performance management processes and provide guidance to managers.
- Support employee training, development, and career growth initiatives.
- Help identify opportunities to strengthen employee engagement and retention.
Compensation & Benefits
- Support compensation, benefits, and employee recognition programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Partner with relevant teams to ensure timely and accurate administration of HR programs.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain appropriate HR documentation and records.
- Support audits, investigations, and other compliance activities as needed.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in human resources management or a similar HR leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of employment practices, HR policies, and applicable regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience working collaboratively with employees and organizational leadership.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
- Other relevant HR or employment-related certifications.
