We are seeking an experienced ODOO (ERP) & IT Manager to lead the administration, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business technology systems. This role will serve as the primary resource for ERP operations, user support, business process optimization, cybersecurity awareness, and IT coordination while ensuring employees have the tools and training needed to maximize system efficiency and productivity.
Position Responsibilities
ERP System Administration & Support
- Serve as the primary administrator and support resource for the ODOO ERP platform.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions for end users.
- Manage user access, permissions, workflows, and ERP configurations.
- Coordinate upgrades, testing, and implementation of new system features.
Business Process Improvement
- Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Recommend and implement improvements that enhance productivity and data accuracy.
- Support cross-functional process optimization initiatives.
- Monitor recurring issues and develop long-term solutions.
User Training & Documentation
- Develop training materials, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct onboarding and ongoing system training for employees.
- Create knowledge base articles and FAQs to improve user adoption.
- Ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date.
IT Support & Business Applications
- Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications and other business software.
- Assist users with connectivity, communication, and productivity tools.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party technology providers for issue resolution.
- Support system integrations and software implementation projects.
Cybersecurity & Access Management
- Maintain secure user access and role-based permissions.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices throughout the organization.
- Support VPN access, endpoint protection, and security-related initiatives.
- Assist with security audits, incident reporting, and compliance activities.
Reporting & Data Management
- Assist users with reporting, dashboards, and business analytics.
- Maintain data quality through standardized processes and validation.
- Support data imports, exports, and reporting improvements.
- Provide insights that support operational decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Purchasing, Sales, and Leadership teams.
- Coordinate with software vendors and implementation partners.
- Support technology initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Communicate project updates and system enhancements effectively.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience supporting ERP platforms, enterprise software, or business applications.
- Strong understanding of business processes including purchasing, inventory, accounting, customer service, or operations.
- Experience troubleshooting software applications and user access issues.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external technology vendors.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Practical understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT support best practices.
