We are seeking a BPS Quality Production Engineer to support manufacturing excellence by improving product quality, optimizing production processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure production standards are met, quality systems are maintained, and operational performance continues to improve through data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
Position Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Monitor and improve product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and applicable industry regulations.
- Conduct quality audits and support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
Process Improvement
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and reduced waste.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and standardized work instructions.
Production Support
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality and process-related issues.
- Provide technical support during production and assist in troubleshooting manufacturing challenges.
- Monitor key production metrics and recommend improvements.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect and analyze production and quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports on quality performance, process capability, and operational metrics.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to support new product introductions and process improvements.
- Participate in root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Support training initiatives to improve quality awareness and operational performance.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical field.
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or quality engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, process control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with root cause analysis, problem-solving tools, and statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification
