We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to support the design, analysis, and execution of complex structural projects across a variety of infrastructure and construction environments. This role is responsible for ensuring structural integrity, code compliance, cost efficiency, and overall project success through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and construction personnel. Position Responsibilities
Structural Design & Analysis
- Perform structural calculations and engineering analysis for various building and infrastructure projects
- Evaluate structural loads, material strength, and overall design feasibility
- Support development of safe, sustainable, and cost-effective structural solutions
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop standardized structural designs
Project Coordination & Management
- Serve as a key point of coordination between internal teams and external structural consultants
- Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables related to structural analysis and design
- Participate in design review meetings and provide technical guidance throughout project execution
- Support construction teams by addressing structural-related questions and field issues
Compliance & Engineering Standards
- Ensure all structural designs comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Maintain awareness of engineering best practices and evolving code requirements
- Support quality assurance and documentation processes for engineering deliverables
Problem Solving & Technical Support
- Identify and resolve structural design and construction challenges
- Provide recommendations for design improvements, manufacturability, and cost optimization
- Support troubleshooting efforts during project execution and construction activities
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare engineering reports, calculations, project documentation, and technical presentations
- Maintain accurate records of revisions, project updates, and engineering decisions
- Support internal knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior engineering staff
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering or related industry
- Strong understanding of structural analysis, construction methods, and engineering principles
- Experience using structural engineering software and design tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline
- OSHA Safety Certification
- Project Management Certification (PMP)
