We are seeking a Sales Technician to support territory-based sales growth by providing technical expertise, customer support, and field-based sales assistance. This role focuses on building customer relationships, supporting account expansion, and delivering product knowledge to ensure successful adoption and long-term satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities
Territory Sales Support
- Support sales growth within an assigned territory through customer engagement and technical support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for account expansion and new business development.
Technical Product Support
- Provide technical guidance and product expertise to customers in the field.
- Support troubleshooting, product application, and solution-based selling.
- Ensure customers understand product capabilities and proper usage.
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for customer needs and inquiries.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Support long-term account development strategies.
Sales Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal sales teams to align territory strategy and goals.
- Track customer interactions, opportunities, and field activity.
- Provide timely updates and reporting on territory performance.
Other Duties
- Perform other duties as trained and qualified.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Experience in technical sales, field support, or industrial customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Sales training or technical certifications related to industry products.
- Lean or customer service certifications.
