We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to take full financial and operational responsibility for a high-end residential landscaping business within a growing national brand. This individual will serve as the strategic and cultural leader of the organization, inspiring a high-performance team, driving profitable growth, and delivering exceptional results across operations, sales, customer service, and talent management. Position Responsibilities

- Deliver on profit and cash flow targets while managing costs and mitigating risk
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop countermeasures to protect business outcomes
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial performance with strategic goals
Project Management and Delivery Excellence
- Oversee all operational activities, ensuring efficient and effective execution of projects
- Instill a mindset of operational discipline, continuous improvement, and process excellence
- Promote cross-functional collaboration to achieve high-quality service delivery
Talent Management
- Prioritize recruitment, development, and retention of top talent across the organization
- Foster a team culture that values growth, accountability, and high performance
- Create and sustain systems for onboarding, performance management, and succession planning
Prerequisites
- Minimum of 20 years of experience, including full P&L responsibility for an organization with $20M+ in revenue
- Proven success in leading growth within a landscape services or related operational business
- Demonstrated ability to elevate an organization’s operational and people capabilities
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills grounded in accountability and strategic vision
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Executive Leadership or Strategic Management certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Landscape Industry Certified Manager
- Advanced financial or business operations coursework or certification
