We are seeking a highly organized and driven Project Manager II to lead and support cross-functional projects within a fast-paced, innovation-focused industrial environment. This role is essential to ensuring project objectives are met on time, within scope, and in alignment with strategic business goals. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator and problem solver, capable of managing multiple concurrent projects, building strong team collaboration, and navigating complex project dynamics from planning through execution.
Position Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Drive execution and ensure timely completion of milestones.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Facilitate communication and alignment across departments to maintain project transparency and momentum.
Risk Management
- Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and conflicts.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruption.
Budget & Resource Management
- Manage project budgets and track expenditures against forecasts.
- Optimize allocation of personnel, tools, and materials to ensure efficient project delivery.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor project progress and performance against KPIs and key milestones.
- Prepare and present regular status updates, reports, and insights to leadership and stakeholders.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and team workflows.
- Support standardization efforts and best practice sharing across projects.
Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Prerequisites
- 5–8 years of experience in project management within engineering, manufacturing, automation, or a related industry
- Proven success in managing complex, multi-phase projects
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Agile or Scrum Certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
