We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Operations to oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production, quality control, supply chain, and logistics. This individual will have a proven track record of managing the P&L and scaling operations in a multi-location campus environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in driving process improvements, integrating automation, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Core Responsibilities
P&L Management
- Proven track record of managing the P&L for operations of $175M+ across multiple locations, ensuring financial performance aligns with corporate goals.
Operations Leadership
- Lead and oversee all manufacturing operations, including production, quality control, supply chain, and logistics to ensure efficient, high-quality production.
Team Building and Leadership
- Build an adaptable organization capable of integrating new automation and process improvements.
- Establish a high-performance culture by fostering teamwork, morale, and professional development among operations and plant staff.
Financial Performance Improvement
- Improve financial performance through operational cost control, labor and material optimization, and process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in improving product line gross margins by optimizing processes and controlling costs, including labor, materials, and automation.
Prerequisites
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations management.
- Proven experience managing a large P&L with operational responsibilities exceeding $175M+.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change, foster teamwork, and integrate new technologies.
- Expertise in managing multi-location operations and implementing process improvements.
- Demonstrated success in improving financial performance and product line margins.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and lead teams at all levels.
Certifications (Preferred, Not Required)
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing Certification (Black Belt or Green Belt).
- Any relevant leadership or management certifications.
