- Demonstrate expertise in electronic controls, PLC maintenance, and the troubleshooting of automated systems.
- Oversee mechanical and electrical modifications and maintenance, adhering to industry best practices.
- Supervise packaging equipment maintenance, including fillers, seamers, case packers, labelers, and palletizers.
- Manage the maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC equipment, and systems.
- Champion the development and implementation of a computerized maintenance management system.
- Uphold company safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices diligently.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision to maintenance mechanics and PMC Coordinator, guiding the team with your knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a background in food distribution, warehousing, or food manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with strong mechanical aptitude and quick learning ability.
- Training or certification in food manufacturing equipment maintenance.
- Comprehensive understanding of food regulations, GFSI, HACCP, GMP, food security, safety, and quality standards.
- Exceptional multitasking skills and the physical capability to handle demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety and quality fundamentals.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is considered an asset.
