Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving sales and providing unparalleled support within a specified region, which will require regular travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and increase sales revenue to meet or exceed assigned targets.
- Proactively engage in prospecting to identify and secure new accounts within the designated sales territory.
- Manage and expand existing direct accounts to enhance business volumes and profitability.
- Empower authorized distributor sales teams through effective organizational strategies, territory planning, and support with administrative duties to uphold superior customer satisfaction.
- Engage in new reseller training programs, contributing expertise to enhance sales orientation and marketing strategies.
- Organize and participate in industry trade shows and meetings to expand product awareness and network.
- Stay informed on new products, services, and industry developments to provide current information to customers.
- Monitor competitive activities and provide insightful reports on market movements.
- Address product-related inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and manage customer complaints with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contacts, and project tracking using the provided CRM system.
- Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required, in line with evolving business needs.
Education, Training, and Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within chemistry, sales, or marketing fields.
- Preferred experience with an ERP system.
Knowledge and Skills:
- A self-starter who can independently manage a range of responsibilities effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 & Suites, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with an ERP solution such as SAP, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
