Chicago Warehouse Worker Overview:

The Warehouse Worker based in the Chicago, IL area, will be responsible for assisting in all warehouse activities. This includes unloading, staging, packing, and shipping of inventory for customer orders. Additionally, the Warehouse Worker will be responsible for the preparation of customer shipments, such as packaging, boxing, and labeling, as well as preparing truck shipments. This job will also assist in the loading and unloading of trucks. The Chicago based Warehouse Worker will also operate work assist vehicles as needed. Attention to detail is important in this job as it is necessary to accurately select and prepare inventory based on customer orders. The Warehouse Worker, in the greater Chicago area, will also maintain inventory counts and maintain a safe and clean workspace. 

Chicago Warehouse Worker Job Opening:

• The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for processing all inbound and outbound inventory in the warehouse.
• In this role, inventory for customer orders will be pulled, staged, and then packed to prepare for shipment.
• This job will also load and unload truck shipments and prepare call orders for customer orders.
• The Warehouse Worker will also be responsible for ensuring that all customer orders are accurate and fulfilled in a timely manner.
• This job will also assist with product inventory counts and will also be responsible for operations of work assist vehicles. 

Warehouse Worker (Chicago Area) Job Requirements:

• This job requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, and a familiarity with fastener products is a plus.
• This role also requires excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills (both oral and written) are necessary for this job.
• The Warehouse Worker will also be required to lift or move up to 50lbs.
