For this job, the VP of Operations will be the leader of the entire manufacturing plant in greater New York City. He or she will be a point of leadership for every department at the New York City location, including sales, production, human resources, customer service, accounting, and engineering. The VP of Operations will need to head up continuous improvement operations for the company in order to make it more competitive with other manufacturers and become more cost-efficient. The VP of Operations will also be charged with increasing profits by holistically utilizing the different sects of the company at the New York City location. The VP of Operations will need to improve the production of his or her direct reports, as leadership is integral to the job. He or she will be reporting to company’s CEO and will be in charge of all company operations.
