Lafayette Validation Engineer Overview:
The primary role of the Validation Engineer is to collaborate with the Quality Assurance, Product Development, and Sustaining Engineering teams in order to ensure that products that the organization creates are safe and meet quality requirements. The Validation Engineer will also come up the test plans and cases to test and validate the software. The Validation Engineer has a very cross-functional role at the greater Lafayette site, as he or she will work alongside customer support staff, as well as laboratory staff to validate products. For this job, the Validation Engineer will report directly to the greater Lafayette site’s Engineering Manager.
Lafayette Validation Engineer Job Opening
- The first job of the Validation Engineer will be to implement test plans that ensure that products are in accordance with the organization’s product requirements and customer quality specifications.
- Additionally, he or she will support project teams to help design and develop test schemes and design reviews to ensure compliance.
- The Validation Engineer must also compile data and reports for this job.
- Additionally, this role will report significant data findings to management.
- There is no travel outside of greater Lafayette, Indiana required for this job.
- The Validation Engineer will execute any additional tasks as given.
Validation Engineer (Lafayette Area) Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technology field is a strong requirement for this job.
- At least 2 years of experience in electronics, technology, or validation engineering is essential for this role.
