Los Angeles Supply Chain Manager Overview:
The Los Angeles Supply Chain Manager will oversee all North American supply chain operations. Main areas of focus will be warehousing, inventory management, receiving, transportation, and distribution. The Los Angeles Supply Chain Manager will analyze the company’s supply chain to find areas for improvement and lead projects to correct those areas. The Los Angeles Supply Chain Manager will also administer the company’s ERP system.

- Direct and monitor operations within the warehouse to ensure all functions align with company procedures and standards.
- Supervise warehousing, distribution, receiving, and maintenance functions within the facility.
- Consistently improve outbound logistics.
- The Los Angeles Supply Chain Manager will create and keep inbound and outbound areas within the facility. Ensure all personnel understand the necessity of keeping areas maintained.
- Ensure all equipment in the facility is regularly maintained and preventative maintenance is performed.
- Schedule and lead cycle counts and other inventory checks. Create a record of the results.
- The Los Angeles Supply Chain Manager will design layout of the facility in order to maximize the use of space.
- Ensure the facility operates according to all internal and external standards and regulations.
- Ensure all safety standards are upheld.
- Ensure that stock counts match records in the ERP system.
Supply Chain Manager (Los Angeles Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree from an accredited university in a discipline related to supply chain, logistics, or business.
- At least five to seven years of supply chain experience.
- Familiarity with transportation, receiving, purchasing, inventory management, distribution, and warehousing.
- A high level of familiarity with warehouse management principles.
- Previous experience administering a continuous improvement program.
- Familiarity working with Key Performance Indicators and a proven ability to drive KPIs
- A high level of experience with ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite of products, particularly outlook, word, and excel.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
