Los Angeles Supply Chain Manager Overview:
The Supply Chain Manager will be in charge of a great deal of duties while working out of the Los Angeles, California site. For this job, the Supply Chain Manager will oversee supply chain practices and will need to come up with ways to optimize shipments, warehousing, and distribution. In addition to managing workers out of the Los Angeles, California site, the Supply Chain Manager will also need to come up with various models of supply chain methods and be able to enhance material costs. The job will require a great deal of forecasting and negotiation. The Supply Chain Manager will report directly to the company’s Director of Supply Chain.
Los Angeles Supply Chain Manager Job Opening
- The Los Angeles Supply Chain Manager will monitor supply performance in order to gauge the capability of vendors to meet quality and delivery specifications.
- For this job, the Supply Chain Manager will periodically travel out to vendors and co-partnering manufacturers in order to enhance relationships and improve supplier performance.
- The Los Angeles Supply Chain Manager will assess material handling equipment needs and staffing levels. ‘
- This job will require moderate travel in and outside of California.
- The Supply Chain Manager will take on additional jobs as necessary as given by the Director of Supply Chain.
Supply Chain Manager (Los Angeles Area) Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related business field.
- At least 10 years of experience in the automotive sector.
- Experience with vendor negotiation, warehousing, and other supply chain functions.
