Sr. Industrial Designer Overview:

The Nashville, Tennessee Sr. Industrial Designer will develop now products for the company across a variety of brands within the company’s portfolio. He or She will monitor competitors’ products to ensure that the company’s products remain competitive and relevant within the marketplace. The Sr. Industrial Designer will participate with project teams across departments to create and improve industrial designs.

The Nashville, Tennessee Sr. Industrial Designer will oversee development and manufacturing launch for new products.
Create new products that increase sales and create customer delight.
The Nashville, Tennessee Sr. Industrial Designer will brainstorm and develop concepts on an accelerated timeline.
Ensure that projects provide a wide variety of assets that increase user benefit.
Serve as an advocate for the customer throughout the design process to ensure that the product creates satisfaction.

Sr. Industrial Designer (Nashville, Tennessee Area) Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in industrial design from an accredited four-year institution is required for this job.
At least five years of related industrial design experience, consumer product experience is strongly preferred.
Familiar with manufacturing processes that involve sourcing from Chinese manufacturers.
Deep understanding of injection molding and metal fabrication manufacturing processes.
Able to sketch both by hand and with a computer, such as Softworks or Pro-E software.
Strong photoshop and illustrator skills.
Able to thrive in a high paced, ever-changing environment.
