Los Angeles IT Sourcing and Contract Manager Overview:
The Los Angeles IT Sourcing and Contract Manager will work closely with IT management personnel to ensure that all the Information Technology department has all necessary materials, equipment, and services. The IT Sourcing and Contract Manager will guide the strategy of IT Sourcing personnel.

- The Los Angeles IT Sourcing and Contract Manager will communicate regularly with leaders in the IT department to gauge their material needs as well as their satisfaction with contracted services.
- Create and maintain records of requested equipment and services.
- Develop a procedure and criteria to evaluate potential vendors and service providers and to make a final selection.
- Develop the company’s supply base by establishing strong relationships with supplier personnel.
- The Los Angeles IT Sourcing and Contract manager will draft, negotiate, and manage all contract documentation.
- Receive cost objectives from senior management and implement sourcing strategies to minimize costs.
- Interface with contacts at service providers to voice satisfaction or concerns with the level of service provided.
- The Los Angeles IT Sourcing and Contract manager will provide guidance to service providers based on feedback from Information Technology management staff.
- Perform other tasks as necessary and directed.
IT Sourcing and Contract Manager (Los Angeles Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree in business or another related field from an accredited university.
- Three to five years of experience in information technology purchasing.
- A high level of familiarity with Ariba.
- Previous experience utilizing contract management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage processes and personnel across distance and business units.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to negotiate strong, cost efficient contracts.
- Proven history of successful project management and change management.
- A high level of motivation, able to anticipate and perform tasks with little direction.
- Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting concurrent deadlines.
