Fremont Site Leader Overview:

The Fremont Site Leader is primarily responsible for providing leadership to 5 direct reports and improving the site’s operations. Additionally, the Site Leader must be a point of contact and leadership between a variety of departments, including Research and Development, Engineering, Process Development, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain. The Site Leader will need to be able to operate in a very active environment, which being able to adapt to variances and obstacles in the manufacturing processes.

• The Fremont Site Leader needs to drive the safety operations of the plant while improving the efficiency of the employees and the plant’s operations.
• The Fremont Site Leader Leader must also enforce corrective and preventative actions for slowdowns and shutdowns in the plant.

Site Leader (Fremont Area) Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• At least fifteen years of experience in a manufacturing or chemicals environment.
• A strong sense of business acumen.
• Experience instilling safety processes at a manufacturing plant.
• An ability to conduct root cause analysis.
• Ability to change manufacturing processes to deal with with obstacles that come up at the plant.
• The Fremont Site Leader would benefit from having a six sigma green or black belt.
• The Fremont Site Leader is required to have strong organizational and planning skills.
