Senior Quality Engineer Job Opening Responsibilities:

Provide direction and oversight in quality engineering, including requirements flowdown, planning review, PFMEA, process improvement, inspection method development, procedural compliance, process auditing, and first article inspection execution.
Perform documentation reviews and maintain quality documentation control center for hardware acceptance activities.
Participate in the Material Review Board, ensuring proper control and disposition of nonconforming hardware.
Drive corrective and preventive actions to achieve continual improvement, including root cause analysis and implementation of solutions.
Manage assigned projects and provide innovative solutions to technical problems.

Senior Quality Engineer Job Opening Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word for data analysis and reporting.
Desirable qualifications include experience in solid rocket component fabrication, electro-mechanical parts assembly, avionics, hardware acceptance review processes, ASQ certifications, and implementing cost-effective inspection methods or key characteristics.
