Los Angeles Senior Operations Manager Overview:
The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for providing leadership in the Los Angeles area distribution center. This job will manage the day to day operations, develop and lead Lean implementation as well as 5S initiatives and all safety programs. Continuous improvement methodology will be a substantial part of this job, the Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for making improvements to the distribution center and supply chain operations. The Senior Operations Manager will work with the distribution management team to improve productivity, increase service quality to both internal and external customers, and meet corporate strategic initiatives.

- This job requires a four-year degree from an accredited degree granting institution in the fields of business, logistics, operations management, supply chain, or a related field.
- This job requires a minimum five years of experience in a large-scale, fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment.
- This role must exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- This role must always look for and recognize opportunities for improvement and development.
- MBA is preferred.
- Experience with PeopleSoft or PkMS is preferred.
