Las Vegas Senior Buyer Overview:
The Senior Buyer, located in the Las Vegas, Nevada area will be responsible for planning the purchase of raw materials by analyzing inventory requirements. The Las Vegas-based Senior Buyer will also be responsible for ensuring orders through approved vendors are arrive in the correct quantity and on the correct dates. This job will involve evaluating vendor performance and track purchasing data to support continuous improvement of the purchasing process. The Senior Buyer will resolve all issues associated with the material and vendor, including quality, quantity, or pricing. In this Las Vegas, Nevada based job, the individual will be expected to obtain any required documentation associated with the materials.
Las Vegas Senior Buyer Job Opening
- The Senior Buyer will be directly responsible for the purchase of raw materials needed for production purposes.
- This job also will ensure that all orders arrive on time and of the correct quality and quantity.
- The Senior Buyer role also evaluates vendor performance to improve the supply chain as needed.
- This role should work closely with supervisors to identify areas of improvement to continuously improve efficiency within the procurement process.
Senior Buyer (Las Vegas Area) Job Requirements:
- This job requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Degrees in supply chain or related fields are preferred.
- Previous experience (at least 5 years) in purchasing in a manufacturing is required.
- This job requires juggling multiple tasks and working in a fast-paced environment.
- This job also requires strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office as well as familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills are key to this role.
