We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer for a leading organization operating in the off-road and industrial markets. The Sales Engineer will report directly to the Department Head, focusing primarily on expanding the company’s revenues within assigned territories through effective business development and sales strategies.
Sales Engineer Job Opening Key Role Responsibilities:
- Implementation of a comprehensive sales strategy that incorporates lead qualification, understanding customer requirements, delivering compelling presentations, and converting opportunities into successful sales with appropriate margins.

- Timely tracking of equipment orders’ stages within the company’s CRM, ensuring the sales team and leadership are updated about the potential pipeline of new equipment orders.
- Collaboration with the marketing team to develop ongoing account communications, identify key segments for lead generation, refine sales messaging, create customer testimonials for advertising purposes, participate in trade show appearances, and reinforce the brand message as a primary liaison with our customers.
- Collection and sharing of customer feedback, including details on lost orders, with management, technical service, engineering, and production departments to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Resolution of payment and collection issues with customers when required.
- Submission of travel expenses in a timely manner.
Sales Engineer Job Opening Candidate Requirements:
- Experience selling to OEMs, including vehicle, aircraft, forklift, locomotive, engine (stationary), and fuel cell manufacturers.
- A Bachelor’s Degree at minimum.
- 7-10 years of relevant B2B component sales experience, particularly within the off-road and industrial market segments. Existing contacts will be crucial for a successful start.
- A positive attitude complemented by excellent communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.

- Travel approximately 20-30% of the time. No international travel is anticipated.
